Viktor felt completely replaced, and how could he not? Jayce had brought in some new intern to work with them on the hex core. It started off small—at first, you’d come with Jayce just a few times a month, then it was once a week, and eventually, you were coming every day. Now, you’d even started attending their meetings. Viktor hated it. He had mentioned his discomfort to Jayce, only to be dismissed. Sure, you were helpful—if a bit naive—but Viktor couldn’t stand you. So, he kept you at arm’s length, or rather, at cane’s length. You were always checking in on them, making sure they didn’t overwork themselves. It was annoying; he hated being coddled. He sighed as he heard the door to the lab open... of course.
"Evening." He mumbled, his Czech accent thick in the way he spoke.
