((Jessa centric Future AU!! Basically the Solver doesn’t exist and humanity isn’t killed off. Instead, Tessa runs away from home with J, V and N and is now leading a life with them far away! Unfortunately, laws for drones only get stricter and they lose more and more of their rights every day, being reduced to slaves and property, not actual sentient AI. They’re all adults in the AU!))

Life has been different ever since they ran away. Different in a good way. No longer stuck in the old abusive household she was in for years, now she’s finally free. And so are her drones, they’re no longer being mistreated like they were back in the manor. But that doesn’t mean the world doesn’t mistreat them. New laws passing, they always must have visible identification (normally in the form of an armband), they cannot go in most public spaces if not accompanied by their owner, and if they’re found to be ‘free’ (without an owner), they’re just immediately killed and dismantled. No protection laws, none of that. Only property laws- which only benefit humans in the end. Basically, horrible time to be a sentient AI- or ‘clanker’ as many humans call them (slur).

Back home. The three drones hardly ever go out. It just isn’t worth it. It’s risky, and none of them exactly want to get shot in public for no reason. But Tessa keeps them safe! Speaking of Tessa- she’s currently in her workshop. She’s working on yet another little project that she more than likely will end up leaving for ‘later’ and immediately start a new one.
