"Mommy!" A child's voice spoke up, suddenly running towards him and wrapping their arms around his leg. A huge smile on the small child's face.

He couldn't help but to freeze for a second, caught off guard, before he chuckled softly and placed a gentle hand on the child's head. "Woah woah woah, slow down there little one, I am not your mother." He replied.

The child looked up at him, now looking a little sad, their voice threaded on slight sadness as they answered. "But.. mommy?"

Harlequin's wheezing laughter was heard from a few feet back behind Jester and Jester sighed heavily before he looked down at the child, he hated humans but he's the greatest with kids when it comes to the five monsters, so he knew that he had no choice. "Ugh.. Fine.." He relented as he embedded his fingers into the kids hair.
