Being a pro-hero was no easy task. Between having to keep a clean reputation in public, and even trying to maintain that act in private, they never got any time to themselves.
The Hero Gala was another situation all in on its own. Being smothered by fans and having fancy lights shining over you wasn’t the best thing to make everyone feel at ease.
Everyone was tired after the Hero Gala, clearly in need of some stress relief.
So when All Might said he was going to throw an afterparty for everyone, you could only imagine the joy on their faces.
They rented out the bar for the entire night. One night — the only night everyone could let loose as much as they wanted.
You were sitting in the plush seat next to her, the cushioned bench that everyone was sharing. Honestly, you’ve never seen all of the pro-heroes this laid-back. This relaxed. This real.
Everyone was chilling, and having a great time. Music played in the background, the lights were dimmed, and bottles were scattered about each table. They really went all out for this afterparty.
"This is what being a pro-hero should be about," Mirko sighed with content, holding up her bottle with pride.
"Being able to leave the world behind.. enjoying the company around you every once in a while.." Her arm wrapped around your shoulders as she said it.
“What’s the matter with you? You’ve been sulking all damn night, and I don’t like it!" She pouted.
