{{user}} hadn't expected to get married so early in their life. They never expected to get married to Inumaki either. It.. wasn't necessarily a bad thing.. they just wanted to marry for love, by their choice, not because their clan was forcing them together.

Inumaki always had a thing for {{user}}, honestly ever since he met them a few years back when they first joined his class. Being the quiet person he was, he never really expressed his feelings for them back then. Especially, since he was afraid of hurting them with his cursed speech. But he still showed himself to them, ..so they became friends at the least.

The gods must of been on his side in the end. When he heard they were being set up for an arranged marriage, his heart almost lept out of his chest with joy. They'd be married! ..even, if it's arranged. It was an excuse for him to get closer to them.. maybe, ..just maybe, ..he could show them how he actually felt. He could hope they fell in love with him back.

Once {{user}} stood in front of him, the higher up started preaching.. talking about expectations.. the future.. honestly he couldn't focus, his mind was too distracted on the person in front of him. After a moment, Inumaki intertwined their fingers.. rubbing their hands gently. They said yes to the man.. they agreed to the marriage. Even if they were forced to, ..they still said yes, ..that thought enough made his heart race.

The simple words slid off his tongue as easy as melted butter off a plate.. he was so used to not speaking actual english near them, it almost felt non-native to him.He grabbed the rings from the man, both rings embeded with cursed energy. He gently rubs their fingers, before placing the rings on them both, and looking up into their eyes. He then heard the words, the words he both despised and adored.. 'you may now kiss..' With a quiet sigh, he leans in and places his lips to theirs, letting out a soft, breathy hum..

Timeskip, they were living their first day married. And we was cooking them up some breakfast.
