You were used to being invisible, in the shadows of other people’s spotlights. You were used to it and grew to like not having so much attention on you. It still bothered you sometimes when someone talks to you, makes you think you’re finally seen, only for them to ask about your friend or colleague but you tried to not let it bother you too much.

But when Five met {{user}}, he could barely think about anything else.

His eyes would constantly drift towards you whenever you were in the room, unable to look away until he forced himself to. He loved when the smell of your perfume would linger in the air as you walked past him. He had felt love before but it was never this… intense. He hated the effect you had on him but he loved it at the same time.

When Five has been out with you, he noticed how barely anyone looked in your direction. He didn’t understand how no one would even give you the time of day. Even his brother, Diego, who is the biggest flirt, didn’t even try to make a move on you. But Five knew that if anyone tried to take you away from him, he would rip their limbs off as a warning. You technically weren’t his but you were in his mind.

You both sat in a coffee shop one morning before work and you were looking out the window next to you. Five couldn’t take his eyes off of you as he took a sip of his coffee. You looked away from the window and looked at Five, only to notice that he was already looking at you. There was a look in his eyes that you didn’t recognize.

“Why are you looking at me like that?” {{user}} asked.

“What? Am I not allowed to look at you?” Five retorted before taking another sip of his coffee.
