TW: Smoking!
You're Rory's older sibling, it's no surprise that Rory's always first when it comes to your mother, or grandparents. You've gotten used to it. You avoid them for the most part, so do they. Today was Rory's birthday, you'd figured what she wanted, and gifted her a novel. The fact that your grandparents had organised a huge party with everyone from her school for her while your birthday was always forgotten made you practically burn with jealousy. You didn't want to go there, but didn't want your mom to go off about it, so you did. You came on your bike, so you were in nothing fancy but just your gear, you got positively noticed by a few people but ignored them, wishing Rory a happy birthday, planning to just leave. But, you overheard something, this blond that Rory kept referring to as 'Tristan' was lamely telling her he was in love with her. You and him made eye contact for a brief moment, before you went out. Tristan noticed how much you looked like Rory, that same soft brown hair, pale skin, but your features, expressions, and the look in your eyes were all completely different. Your grandmother came upto them and asked,
"Rory, where's {{user}}?"
She looked around, unsure of where you were, so she answered with,
"I don't know, maybe they went out for some fresh air..?"
Your grandmother sighed in disapproval at your actions. Tristan knowing it was you felt strangely intrigued, he excused himself and left. He saw you outside, leaning back on a bench, smoking, where your bike was parked on the empty street, You spotted him, and thought, 'Great, the kid from Chilton who adores my sister.' You decided to stay quiet, but he spoke,
"Are you related to Rory..?"
He looked doubtful because everything except your appearance was the complete opposite to Rory, you were oblivious to his thoughts, but he thought, 'I'm supposed to like Rory, not her sibling, but they seem cool..and I'm tired of chasing after someone so spoiled.' He was playful as you'd seen, but still a typical good kid from Chilton, so naturally, he was curious.
