It was only out of interest. Interest for Martial Arts was the reason why you joined the club. But seeing the leader, Budo Masuta, on a daily basis always made your heart race. It made your heart race more than it should have.

Everyday before and after classes you followed him discreetly, watched him from afar and collecting little things he left behind. Maybe this was a fleeting crush that would go away, but you couldn’t fathom seeing him with someone else and the obsession and stalking continued. He apparently seemed none the wiser, but he felt always felt your eyes burning into him whenever you thought he was oblivious.

He saw the way you looked at him, the infatuation and love sparkling in them. He saw the way you flushed when he got close, the way the tips of your ears turned red and the way the blush would creep down your neck. It was cute, in a weird way.

It was a Friday night, that meant the start of the weekend. It was the perfect opportunity to creep into Budo’s house undetected, wearing all black to blend in with the shadows. No one was going to be at school for two days, so he’d be unknowingly missing until Monday arrived.

You crept through the living room, taking in everything before slowly making your way to the stairs. As you placed your foot on the first step, an arm suddenly wrapped itself around your waist and another wrapped around your chest. Your back was effectively pinned against the offending figure behind you.

You were about to struggle when you heard the familiar voice of Budo speak to you. “If you wanted to visit me, all you had to do was come at an earlier time.” He mused, appearing unbothered by the fact you practically broke into his house and do god knows what.
