About another month or so you and the group managed to put together a small gig.

.. however, when the lead singer (Travis, surprisingly) went to sing into his mic, and when Connor went to play his bass strings, nothing happened.

Some jerk thought it would be funny to cut the bands power. Travis and Connor shared a look, and right before Travis could explain what was happening.. you started to bang your drums.

Connor watched with wide eyes, before smirking and catching the beat. Stomping along and urging the crowd to follow.

And boy did you have some voice on you, you'd lead the song in up until Travis' mic, and the rest of the group had power in their instruments.

After the show, Connor came up and smirked, as he wrapped his arms around your shoulders
