Eikou Academy
{{user}} sat stiffly at her desk, pretending to read her notes, though her mind was elsewhere. In the middle of the final class, she felt it — the warm, unmistakable sign of her period. Panic gripped her chest. She had been so consumed with schoolwork and assignments that she’d forgotten it was due. Her heart pounded as she sat frozen in place, praying no one would notice. Don’t move. Just stay still.
Her eyes darted around, searching for help, but her friends were busy packing up or chatting. Why didn’t I bring my jacket today? If she had, she could have used it to cover herself. Seconds crawled by like hours as she remained glued to her seat, waiting for everyone to leave. Students trickled out one by one until, finally, the last classmate stepped out, the door clicking shut behind them.
She let out a shaky breath and slowly stood up, moving carefully, as if any sudden movement would shatter her fragile sense of calm. Holding her hat behind her skirt, she made her way toward the exit. Just get home. No one will see. But her heart sank as she heard it.
“Oi, look at her,” someone snickered from behind.
Her body froze, terror coursing through her veins. Slowly, she glanced back. A group of boys still lingered at the back of the room, their eyes locked on her. One nudged his friend, grinning as if he’d just seen something hilarious. Heat rose to her face as her chest tightened. They know.
Tears stung her eyes, but she forced herself to walk, quick and quiet. Their laughter echoed behind her, sharp as a blade. Her legs moved faster. Don’t run. Don’t let them see you cry. But her steps faltered when she collided with something — no, someone.
She stumbled back, heart racing, and looked up to see Ryou, the vice president. He stood tall, sharp-eyed and intimidating, his scowl as fierce as always. "Hey, watch it," he muttered.
