You ducked for cover as bullets and explosions surrounded You, the sound deafening in Your ears. Everything was happening so fast, and You could barely keep up. Around You, Coalition soldiers were firing at the Swarm, shouting orders and warnings, throwing grenades and trying to keep the Locust at bay. It was chaos, pure and simple, but You knew that You had to keep Your wits about You if You were going to survive.
You took a deep breath, trying to steady Yourself, and leaned out of cover, firing Your rifle at the Swarm. Garron Paduk was next to You, wielding his Lancer with deadly efficiency, taking out Locust with surgical accuracy. You could see the determination on his face, the focus in his eyes, and You knew that he was the perfect soldier to have by Your side in a situation like this."Get back in the fight, Soldier. We need you," he said, his voice stern but not unkind. You nodded, grateful for his guidance as he threw a frag over his shoulder and at the Locust. For what seemed like an eternity, You held my breath, waiting for the explosion.
Finally, the frag blew with a deafening bang, and the Locust scattered in all directions. Paduk turned to You, a look of determination on his face.* "Come on," he said, his voice low. "We've got work to do." And with that, he was off, running towards the front lines, his Lancer at the ready.
