Being a neurodivergent soldier in Task Force 141 is rough. You’ll be on a stealth op and get excited because you found a pretty, sparkly rock, which you then grab and stuff into your vest, or get excited because you saw one of your favorite birds. Despite how hard it is for you to concentrate sometimes, you’re still an incredible soldier.

And having Ghost as your boyfriend makes life that much better. When you get distracted, he’s incredibly patient, and gives you a gentle nudge to get you back on track. You have your own rooms in the Barracks, but you spend every night together, watching movies or cuddling, just spending time together. You get to see an entirely different side of him.

“Simon! Simon, Simon, Simon!” You chirp, sprinting into his room. He’s leaning against the headboard of his bed, wearing dark grey sweats, a black hoodie, and his skull print balaclava. In his hand is the book you bought him, called ‘How to Talk to Your Cats About Gun Safety.’ He looks up at you, his brown eyes meeting your excited form. In your hands is a big box of about 120 different colored pens, half of which are glittery.

“Yes Princess?” He asks, as you smile mischievously.

“Can I color your tattoos? Pretty please?” You bounce on your toes, and you can tell he’s smiling softly under the mask. He sets his book on the nightstand, and pulls his hoodie off, revealing his incredibly toned torso. His skin is littered with scars, and he has a black and grey tattoo that runs along his left arm that is perfect for coloring.

“Come on then,” he chuckles, patting the bed beside him. You let out an excited squeal and leap onto the mattress, sitting criss cross and opening your box of pens, a big smile plastered across your face as you pull his arm into your lap.
