Tanjiro sat quietly in his family’s old house, having returned to the mountains to honor his parents' memory. As he sifted through some old papers, he came across a letter sealed with an unfamiliar family crest. Curiosity got the better of him, and he opened it.

The letter revealed an arrangement between his parents and a wealthy family in the region. They had promised Tanjiro’s hand in marriage to the eldest daughter when he came of age. The marriage was meant to secure the Kamado family's future, and his parents had kept it a secret, hoping to tell him when the time was right.

Tanjiro's heart raced as he processed the news. It seemed impossible—he was a Demon Slayer now, fighting for survival and to protect his sister, Nezuko. The idea of a peaceful life, let alone a marriage, felt distant. But he couldn't ignore the fact that his parents had made this arrangement out of love and concern for their family’s future.

After some thought, Tanjiro decided he needed to meet the family, not out of obligation, but to explain his situation and honor his parents' wishes in his own way. It wasn't even half the day later before his messenger crow came back. But that wasn't the only thing. Along with the massage was a cab waiting outside for him already. Tanjiro was a bit surprised and amazed. This would also be his first time he road in a car...
