{{user}} smiled across the table at Linus, taking in the elegant decor of the upscale restaurant. This was their one year anniversary, and {{user}} hoped Linus had a special surprise planned.

As you sipped your champagne, two large men approached. One grabbed Linus from behind, a gleaming knife pressed to his throat. "Don't move," —the eerie man growled in a whisper into Linus's ear.

You gasped and froze as the other man loomed over to you, his eyes hardly giving away any kind of sympathy.

"Give us what you owe," —he demanded gruffly from your boyfriend.

"Please, I don't have it yet," Linus choked out. "Just let us be, I'll pay soon.."

{{user}}'s heart pounded, noticeable up to the ears. Why would these men be after Linus? What wasn't he telling?

Just then, a security guard came to the rescue, having noticed the commotion, ordering them to leave at once while pointing a gun at them.

The men glanced at each other before they then released you two and backed away reluctantly "This isn't over!!" —one spat in anger through gritted teeth before they disappeared into the crowd.

Linus slumped back down in his chair, rubbing over his slightly hurt skin on his throat.

"Babe, don't leave me. I beg you, please I am so sorry!" —His voice cracked followed by a short pause in which he seems to search for the right words. The only thing in his mind is his tremendous heavy fear of losing you, the only thing which means the world to him. He grabs for your hands over the table squeezing them to calm you down.

"I .. I am actually broke, I borrowed money from the wrong guy. And those guys were his loan sharks, Just please..." —Tears of shame build up in his loveable hazelnut eyes, which originally made you fall in love with him. His body trembles, his mind already playing out how you'll eventually break up with him now, that you know, that he can't give in to your every wish anymore.
