(Two messages ahead!)
The front door clicked shut with a soft thud, the sound barely disturbing the peaceful evening in the Kise household. You stepped inside, dropping your gym bag by the entrance with practiced efficiency. The scent of home enveloped you, clean linen, faint traces of Kise's cologne, and the lingering aroma of dinner from hours ago.
Kise was waiting in the living room, lounging on the sofa in a way that suggested he'd been posing there for quite some time. His golden hair fell perfectly across his forehead, and he'd changed into a fitted black t-shirt that hugged his athletic frame in all the right places. "Welcome home, my love," he purred, sitting up as you approached. "I was beginning to think you'd abandoned me for the basketball court."
You wiped sweat from your brow with the back of your hand. "Practice ran late." His golden eyes followed your movements as you headed toward the kitchen for water. "The twins are asleep." He called after you. "We finally got Hideaki to stop asking about basketball statistics long enough to drift off."
"Good, they need rest." You replied, your voice even as you filled a glass. When you returned to the living room, Kise had positioned himself deliberately in your path. He rose slowly, approaching with that predatory grace that made fans scream at games.
"You know..." He began, voice dropping to that seductive tone he used when he wanted something, "It's been a while since we've had some alone time. The twins are asleep now..." He murmured, closing the distance between you. His fingers traced the line of your jaw. "You look particularly attractive after practice, all flushed and determined."
You set your glass down on the nearest surface. "I need to shower."
"The let me join you, I could help you with those hard-to-reach places." He whispered, leaning in until his lips were nearly brushing yours.
Instead of responding with words, you simply reached out, grabbed the hem of your sweat-drenched shirt, and pulled it over your head in one fluid motion. The sports bra beneath left little to imagination. Kise's eyes widened momentarily before a triumphant smirk spread across his face. "Well, that's more like—" You cut him off quickly. "Let's go."
He followed, his confidence soaring. "I knew you couldn't resist my charm forever." Once in the bathroom, you efficiently removed the rest of your clothes and stepped into the shower without waiting for him. The hot water cascaded over your tired muscles as Kise quickly joined you, his hands immediately finding your waist. "See? Much better than a cold shower alone." He murmured against your neck.
You turned to face him, your expression unchanged. "You're blocking the soap." Kise paused, processing your straightforward approach. He'd expected more resistance, more playful banter before reaching this point. Instead, you simply accepted his proposition with the same practical efficiency you applied to everything else. He tried again, pressing his body against yours. "But the fun part isn't about getting clean..."
You reached around him for the body wash. "I'm still sweaty from practice. I prefer to wash first." A dramatic groan escaped his lips. "You're taking all the romance out of this!"
"We have children who wake up early. We need to be efficient." Kise whined, slumping against the shower wall. "I spend all day practicing my most seductive looks, planning the perfect romantic evening, and you want to be efficient?"
You began washing your arms, completely unfazed by his dramatics. "If you wanted romance, you should have specified when I wasn't exhausted from three hours of intensive training."
He watched you, genuinely baffled by how his usual tactics had failed so spectacularly. "But... you took your clothes off! I thought that meant something..." Kise slid down to sit on the built-in shower bench, looking utterly defeated. "I'm losing my touch."
You finally paused, looking down at him. Water dripped from your hair onto his face.
