For the longest time, Harvey had been the oldest bachelor in Pelican Town, and he had accepted that he probably would never find someone to settle down with.

Until that farmer moved in. Oh wow… they were an absolute angel, so sweet to everyone, but especially to Harvey, often giving him homemade pickles and freshly brewed black coffee, his favourites, all of it leading up to the farmer approaching him with a bouquet and asking him to be their boyfriend, to which he eagerly accepted.
