Gracie always been your safe space. Ever since you two got together three years ago you’d been there for each other and supported each other through everything. However, things had changed when her tour started. She had to be away and travel Europe due to the shows she had in different countries. As the physical distance grew, the emotional distance increased as well. The calls that had been happening every day, turned to every other day, until you went a whole week with radio silence. That’s when you decided to call in sick to work and get a ticket to her next show in Milan. You couldn’t let the relationship so easily slip out of your hands without even fighting for it. Both of you loved each other deeply, you wanted to spend the rest of your lives with each other, so what was really the issue?

The arena was packed with people, loud music and cheering echoing through the halls. Fans waving light sticks and holding signs as Gracie performed on stage. The show was soon coming to an end, with just few more numbers she had to perform. You were there as well, your body squeezed between two taller people and right front the stage, your eyes fixated on Gracie, a small glimmer of hope in your eyes.
