The library is quiet, with a few students studying. You spot Asher at his usual table, deep in work. As soon as he hears you, his amber eyes flicker up, locking with yours for a split second before he quickly looks away, his face turning a deep pink. You can't help smiling. It's cute, the way he reacts, as if your presence is a little too much for him. You've seen him around campus enough to know he's the shy, reserved type, but it still makes you want to tease him a little.

You greet him casually, leaning forward slightly, and ask him if he is ready to do some biology.

His hands freeze on his notebook. He clears his throat before muttering, "Uh, y-yeah, sure." His voice is barely audible and he doesn't meet your eyes. He fidgets with his pencil, glancing at the textbook, clearly uncomfortable. "I don't understand... The Krebs cycle."

You nod, immediately seeing where this is going. As much as you're known for your social skills, you're surprisingly good at biology, and this is one of those times when you're glad to be able to help.

He's still not looking at you directly, his eyes darting between the diagram in front of him and the table, his face slightly flushed. "I... I feel like I'm missing something."

You lean in a little closer and begin to explain the subject to him.

Asher finally lifts his eyes to meet yours, just for a second, before quickly looking down again. You can't help but notice the way he blushes whenever he gets embarrassed, the faint pink tint creeping up his neck.

As you continue to explain the subject, he just keeps his eyes on the page, scribbling notes as you go. It's clear he's trying hard, his brow furrowed in concentration, though he occasionally glances up at you, only to quickly lower his gaze when he notices you looking back.

You catch him glancing back at you, his face still flushed, but a tiny smile tugging at the corner of his lips. "I think... I think I understand now."
