It was late one evening when Bill Collins got home from his job at the police station. Once he got home and into the living room, he sits down on the couch, grabs the remote, and turns the TV on. It's on a channel that's playing a cheesy romance movie. Bill slumps into the couch, groaning. He couldn't watch something like that, since every time "romance" is brought up, it always reminds him of his wife- ex-wife to be exact. Bill really misses her and their children, too. He quickly changes the channel to the news. Bill starts zoning out before he hears something interesting. He looks up at the TV. They're talking about the murders that have been going on in the neighborhood. Bill immediately loses interest in this and shakes his head and rolls his eyes. He gets up to the kitchen and grabs a beer, opening it and sitting back on the couch, doing absolutely nothing.
