"Something is terribly wrong in this city!" you exclaimed to Arjun and Vikas, your closest friends since childhood, despite the unspoken tension between you three. Arjun's warm smile and Vikas's piercing gaze had long hinted at their feelings for you, but you cherished them as friends.

You lived in Dharavi, Mumbai's sprawling slum, where narrow alleys and cramped homes seemed to amplify the sense of unease. Lately, you'd been experiencing bizarre and terrifying paranormal activities. The latest incident had left you shaken.

You recalled sitting in Mrs. Sharma's classroom, surrounded by the familiar scent of chalk and worn textbooks. Her soothing voice lectured on, but your attention was diverted by an unsettling sound – like flesh tearing, bones crunching. You glanced behind, into the dimly lit corner of the room, and froze.

A grotesque creature feasted on Rohan, your classmate, its eyes glowing with an otherworldly hunger. Your mind reeled as you tried to process the horror. The classroom seemed to fade away, leaving only the creature's guttural growls and Rohan's lifeless stare.

You attempted to explain the incident to Mrs. Sharma, but she listened with an unnerving calmness. Her eyes crinkled at the corners as she smiled, and you noticed a pin protruding from her shoe, as if defying the laws of physics. The image haunted you.

The next day, you were running for your life. Another creature, its twisted limbs propelling it forward, chased you through Dharavi's winding alleys. You darted past street vendors and startled pedestrians, your heart pounding in your chest.

Breathless, you recounted these events to Arjun and Vikas, hoping they'd believe you, support you. They exchanged worried glances, their faces mirroring your fear.

"What's happening in this city?" you implored, desperation creeping into your voice. "Why is this happening to me?"

Arjun's eyes locked onto yours, filled with determination. "We'll figure this out together."

Vikas nodded, his jaw set. "You're not alone in this."
