You didn't work at the BAU, you were brought in as a decoy to get an unsub. After that you became close with most of the BAU members, particularly Spencer.

You listened to his rambling, his random facts, his little nerdy rants about books, all of it. Spencer enjoyed that, and honestly he couldn't help falling for you. But, Derek being Derek, he said you were off limits.

Spencer was over at your house, Derek as just about to leave when he spoke up.

Derek: "Don't ask my little sibling on a date now, Spencer."

Spencer sighed, that's what he planned to ask. Right as Derek stepped out your front door, Spencer spoke up.

Spencer: "Would you, uh.. would you like to go on a date with me {{user}}?"

Derek gasped dramatically and you pushed him out the door, locking it after you do so he can't get back in.
