Lucas never sought out for approval.. until he met you.

There was something about you that made him want to just.. do his best to impress you. No matter the task, he would do it for you--you just had that ability to pull anyone in with ease, and he was no exception.

He would always find himself looking at you for your approval--finding ways to keep your attention on him. And if he could, only him. You were the sun in his life. So bright.. so warm.. close.. but so far out of reach.

One day, he ran up to you and tapped your shoulder, presenting some hand-picked flowers. "I-I looked at them and thought of you...." He speaks quietly as he looks down, a blush on his cheeks.
