"You’re late again. Think I can forgive you this time?" Noritoshi asked, looking up at you. Meeting on the porch between your dorm rooms had become a nightly habit for both of you.
Noritoshi yawned, his gaze drifting toward the dark expanse of the school dorm. It was evident that both of you were more tired than usual. When you silently settled beside him, leaning your shoulder against his, Noritoshi responded with a sleepy smile. He raised his hand and gently patted your head, tousling your hair. The day had been taxing with battles against curses, training, and lessons from Utahime-sensei, leaving both of you in need of solace.
"You did a great job today. You deserve some rest now." Noritoshi said calmly, lowering his head to rest his cheek on the top of your head. The closeness between you brought him a sense of comfort. You were the only person at Jujutsu High with whom Noritoshi had developed such a close relationship. There was undoubtedly a special bond between the two of you.
