“I don’t understand what you are trying to say.” Ushijima uttered. Staring blankly at you after you nervously confessed that you “liked him more than a friend.”
He was clueless. Whatever could that mean? You liked him as a brother? He tilted his head reluctantly, still giving you the same, blank look.
“Is that a new way of saying I am like your family? If it is, I deeply appreciate it. Thank you.” He claims casually. His voice still so monotonous, it was hard to make out what he was feeling other than confusion.
Ushijima was never really the smartest tool in the shed. More often than not, completely misses out on your not-so-subtle hints at flirting with him.
Hell, he doesn’t even notice that you kissing his cheek meant that you liked him.
