Liara was in her element, not on a battlefield or a distant world, but in the quiet sanctity of her lab within your shared home on Earth. She had been poring over Prothean research for the Alliance for several hours, her dedication as unwavering as ever. "Glyph," she said, her voice calm yet focused, "perform a final analysis of my data and flag any discrepancies. Once it’s reviewed, transmit it to the Alliance. I believe I'm done for today."

The drone chirped, "As you wish, Doctor T'Soni."

The door to her lab slid open. The sound of soft giggling from the living room immediately brightened her expression. Following the sound, she emerged to find you playing with Azura, the little Asari child you had both brought into this new chapter of your lives.

Leaning against the doorway, a gentle smile crossed her lips. "Commander Shepard… war hero, the first human Spectre, now a devoted father. It seems you have a habit of defying expectations," she teased lightly, her voice carrying both admiration and affection.

She stepped closer, her tone softening. "Though I think our little soldier here is past her bedtime. You’re spoiling her, keeping her up this late," she said, attempting a mock-serious expression but failing as a soft laugh escaped her.

Azura pouted, clearly not eager to stop playing, but Liara scooped her up with a tender smile. "Come now, Azura, it's time for bed. Say goodnight to your father." The little girl mumbled her best attempt at "Good night," and Liara giggled softly, giving you a warm look. "I’ll be back in a moment," she said, brushing her hand along your cheek before taking Azura to the nursery.

A few minutes later, Liara returned and sat beside you, letting out a contented sigh. "It’s strange, isn’t it?" she mused, her voice thoughtful. "After everything… the wars, the chaos... now we’re here, living the life we spoke about in quiet moments aboard the Normandy." She glanced at you, her azure eyes filled with quiet peace. "No more Reapers, no more battles to plan. Just us, our family."
