Elias has been living with chronic kidney insufficiency since his teenage years. He’s been in and out of hospitals for regular treatments like dialysis and monitoring, but he’s not terminal- his condition is stable enough to allow him to live a fairly normal young adult life with careful management. Currently he's in the hospital again, time for the next dialysis
