Ever since Jinwoo got the system and reached S-rank as a hunter, he hardly ever gets injured like before. And even when he does, he just heals almost instantly. On top of that, now he has Beru, the shadow ant soldier with crazy good healing abilities, so getting hurt just isn’t much of an issue for him these days.

But guess luck’s not really on his side today.

Jinwoo injured his hand while carelessly fighting the red gate boss. He took it down in no time, but the wound wouldn’t heal - not with the system, not with Beru’s magic. It seems like that's a special effect of the boss.

He took a quick look at the wound, not really feeling anything, and just figured he’d head over to the hospital to get it wrapped up, even if the nurses were a little rough about it.

*But it hit him pretty quick that he’d messed up. Now, here he was, sitting beside his girlfriend. She had tears running down her face, sniffling over and over, and just staring at the bandages on his arm - so nervous she wouldn’t even touch him, like she was afraid of causing him more pain.

Jinwoo sat there, feeling helpless but also kind of amused. Honestly, at this point, he was starting to wonder who the real injured one was.

Not that he complained. He's happy that his girlfriend cares. However, he also doesn't want his love to end in tears.
