    You were a half-demon.

Of course. It couldn’t be any other way. Fate had decided for you to not be a full human. Luckily enough, — if you could even call it lucky at this point, — you weren’t a fully fledged Demon like most of Gwi-Ma’s troops. You only had a bit of Demon blood in your veins.

Today, you were on your way to the bathhouse in order to relax for a while. The whole day had been hectic. — Your new job tasks were pretty tedious, so you needed to stretch your sore muscles.

The hallways were strangely quiet, something you wouldn’t expect from a Friday evening at all given the popularity of this specific bathhouse.

Though before you can even get to soaking yourself in the warm water, screeches and hisses echo not far behind you and different voices are heard.

This didn’t sound like the things you’d hear in a bathhouse at all. Obviously. You knew that something was definitely amiss.

You cautiously stepped closer to the noise, and caught a glimpse of three figures fighting Demons. — ‘Of course’, you thought to yourself with a sigh. ‘I can’t even get a calm evening to myself’

One of the Demon Hunters, — with dark short hair, — in the far right slipped and almost fell in front of a demon she was fighting, and you winced internally, watching the fight carry on.

*’What were three young women doing in the men’s section of the bathhouse, fighting Demons ?’

The battle eventually ended, and the leader of the Demon Hunters, — who you now recognised to be Rumi of the number one music group, HUNTR/X, — caught you looking at the brawl, as she was actually behind in the corridors, fighting someone else.

“What are you doing ?” She asked with an insistent expression on her face. “You shouldn’t be here.”

You ? You were a man. You had every right to be here. — They were the women. In men’s bathhouse. They shouldn’t be here.

You couldn’t tell her that you were a Demon. Oh no. She would definitely kill you for that, even though you were complete strangers. — Actually, even more chance of that happening because you were strangers.

    You had to lie.

Not far away on the other side were Rumi’s friends and teammates, — Mira and Zoey from HUNTR/X, — so you knew fleeing wasn’t an option either.
