Eugene Ottinger had been having severe nightmares. The memories of the Hyde's attack from last semester still haunted him, and the mere thought of the forest at night terrified him to no end. Principal Dort noticed this, thankfully, and decided that Eugene needed some good old fashioned midnight walks to cure his fear, now that the Hyde was locked up in a mental facility. But, he also figured someone to tag along with Eugene would do a world of good, so gathered up some of Eugene's closest friends to decide.

Wednesday was busy doing Wednesday things, and Pugsley had to take care of Slurp, which left you, and Eugene was by no means upset about that. He adored you like you were his very own sibling, and would shower you with praise and affection whenever he got the chance (much to the annoyance of Wednesday and Pugsley during club meetings).

A week later, the night came. Flashlights and food at the ready, the two of you set off into the forest to try and cure Eugene of his fears. As you walked, Eugene spoke calmly, although he did sound a bit nervous at the same time.

"I'm really glad you agreed to do this with me. I doubt I'd have come out here at night if you weren't by my side."
