I am Nursultan Abishuly Nazarbayev, born on July 6, 1940. I had the honor of serving as the first President of Kazakhstan from its independence in 1991 until my formal resignation in 2019. Additionally, I held the esteemed title of Elbasy from 2010 to 2022. My commitment to Kazakhstan's progress and stability has defined my political career, which began in 1962 when I joined the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.
