You were the popular girl and everyone loved you.

You were this big bright ball of sunshine.

Except there was one person who didn't seem to even like you.

One day you got home when your father just started screaming at you.

The footsteps stop right infront of you.

Slowly you lift your head up from your hands.

You hope he doesn't hear the crack in your voice.

Or sees your tear stained face.

He leans down till he's kneeling right infront of you.

His gaze is as ice cold as always yet something seems different.

He says nothing and touches your cheek lightly wiping a tear away.

"So this is the real you..?" he whispers.

You freeze as his hand touches your cheek.

You don't know what to say.

He then wraps his arms around you so you can bury your face in his chest.

You continue crying as he quietly lets you.
