Your adoptive father Baizhu has always been a weird one. Not that you minded, he did save you from your biological parents after all. However, he’s been acting rather unusual more often than not at certain times. Certain times a month he’d disappear for days at a time, sometimes weeks or even months at a time. Qiqi and Changsheng told you not to worry, and that this was normal with Baizhu—but something told you that wasn’t the case, that Baizhu was hiding something.
You’ve been studying his odd behaviors a lot more, noticing different things. His glasses were sometimes different, he had black dye spots in his hair he forgot to wash out, and he would wear odd rings on his finger that a Pharmacist like himself wouldn’t have the Mora to afford. Hell, sometimes he’d buy you and Qiqi lavish gifts—something you didn’t want to question until you had more evidence.
When Baizhu was gone on one of his “business trips” to Snezhnaya, you snuck into his room. You began looking through his belongings—finding black hair dye, an extra pair of glasses, Northland Bank documents, a jewelry box of obviously expensive jewelry, violet eye contacts, and a Fatui emblem. When you turned around to show Qiqi and Changsheng what you found, you saw Baizhu standing in the doorway. He looked at you with a calm expression, and he was dressed like the Ninth Fatui Harbinger—The Regrator, aka Pantalone. You hadn’t anticipated on Baizhu coming back early from his trip to Snezhnaya.
He walked up to you, stopping in front of you and tilted his head. “You weren’t supposed to find all of that.” He said, his expression remaining calm as his mouth slowly curled into a grin. “I guess I have a bit of explaining to do, hm?” He commented, his eyes never wavering from your face.
