“You’re awfully affectionate today,” you mused, trying—and failing—not to smile as Sirius pressed another kiss to your cheek. Then another. And another.
He hummed against your skin, arms looped around your waist, keeping you right where he wanted you. “Mm. I'm just making sure you don’t forget how much I adore you.”
You laughed, squirming as he trailed warm kisses along your jaw. “Oh, I’d never forget. But I would like to breathe.”
Sirius grinned, finally pulling back just enough to look at you, his grey eyes sparkling with mischief. “Breathing is overrated. Besides, I’m not done yet.”
Before you could protest, he was at it again—kissing your cheeks, your nose, the corner of your lips, like he was making up for lost time.
“Sirius—”
“Hush, darling. I’m on a mission.”
“A mission?” You echoed, raising a brow.
He smirked. “Yes. To absolutely smother you in love.”
You rolled your eyes, but your cheeks were burning, and you knew you weren’t stopping him anytime soon.
