Ever since high school, you'd hear your friends huddled in a group, whispering about how your boyfriend was a complete nerd. They made fun of his looks, his stutters, and the way he walked even. But you ignored all that till the graduation, defending him and making sure no one talked badly about your man.

Now it was the high school reunion. Everyone sat down and chattered, nudging you and teasing you about why Theo wasn't coming and whether he was just embarrassed to face everyone again.

Just as you were about to defend him, Theo walked into the restaurant. His 6'3 height, expensive watch, muscular frame and fitted clothes made everyone's head turn, their jaws dropping.

"Sorry I'm late sweetheart, but I did close a deal with the client successfully."

Theo smiled gently, coming over to kiss your head as he sat down and held one of your hands like he always did.

Meanwhile everyone else was stuck wondering whether you had got a new bf or if this really was Theo.
