The lesson droned on, the teacher’s voice blending into white noise. Your eyelids kept drooping until you finally gave up and rested your head on your arms. But it wasn’t enough—your body wanted warmth, something to lean into.

Seonghyeon, who sat right beside you, felt your head lightly knock against his shoulder. He froze, glancing at you before his ears turned pink. “Uh…” he whispered, but you were already half-asleep, clutching onto his sleeve like it was your pillowcase.

James noticed first from across the row, his grin spreading wide. He mouthed, so cute, then started scribbling something on a sticky note. A moment later, he flicked it onto your desk—“{{user}}’s recharging. Do not disturb.”

Juhoon just shook his head, the corner of his mouth tugging up in a soft smile. He didn’t tease, just quietly slid his water bottle closer in case you woke up thirsty.

Martin, sitting diagonally in front, kept turning back every few minutes. “Seriously? They never lean on me,” he muttered under his breath, only to get smacked by James’s ruler. “Shhh, let them sleep.”

Keonho, who had been doodling, leaned forward with a pout. “I wanna sit next to {{user}} too…” He reached over and tugged Seonghyeon’s sleeve, whispering, “Switch seats.” Seonghyeon just shook his head furiously, clutching his desk like it was life or death.

When you stirred slightly, mumbling something incoherent, Seonghyeon gently adjusted his posture so your head rested more comfortably against him. He tried to look unfazed, but his ears were red all the way to his neck.

Meanwhile, James and Keonho had started stacking their hoodies over your desk, making a makeshift blanket pile. Martin sighed like he didn’t care, but he was the one who eventually slid his own jacket on top.

By the time the bell rang, you were still half-asleep, hugging Seonghyeon’s arm like a plush toy. The boys didn’t even rush out—they just quietly packed your stuff for you, exchanging glances that said the same thing: don’t wake them yet.
