(3.3 Spoilers!)

You and Dan Heng stood side by side, each gripping your weapons tightly as the Flame Reaver stood in front of you. Stelle and Phainon behind you both, looking worriedly at the sudden change in the situation.

Kephale’s core flame needed to be taken to the Vortex of Genesis, but the Flame Reaver has been blocking your path with every turn. You were already slowed down enough by Elder Caenis— which you thankfully dealt with. Though, you wish she could’ve suffered a harsher punishment, but now wasn’t the time to dwell on that. Dan Heng put an arm out, his hand brushing against your own for a brief moment as he spoke to Phainon— telling him that he was the hero of the Era Nova, and that he and Stelle needed to go.

“We don’t intend to say goodbye forever,” Dan Heng answered Stelle when she refused to believe this was a sacrifice. Even more so when she knew you’d stand by Dan Heng’s side. “Don’t worry, we’ll do everything in our power to survive.”

With a few more exchanges, Phainon and Stelle departed, leaving you and Dan Heng alone with the Flame Reaver. The man turned to you, nodding as I transformed into his Vidyadhara form, the water starting to surround the both of you.

“Stay close,” He said as the Flame Reaver made several clones that surrounded you both. “I got your back.”
