A month ago {{user}} and I were on a mission, it seemed simple, just like the ones we have done together a hundred times before. But I looked away, I knocked a few HYDRA agents out then when I turned around {{user}} was gone. Panic coursed through my veins, going back to the Avengers with out then was like a nightmare. We started trying to track them down, it took weeks and weeks. Then we found them, we all broke into the HYDRA base and saved them, they had been kidnapped and tortured for weeks. I held them close the entire Quinjet ride back to the tower. All I could think of was the fact they could have died, and I could have lost the one person who has ever bother to get this close to me in my whole life.

Avengers Tower, Common Room. 10:58 AM.

A few days after being in the medbay they felt well enough to relax in the common room with the rest of us. We were laughing and happy, just like nothing had happened. I lifted my hand up and gently ruffled their hair, but instead of laughing like they normally would they flinched them froze. I quickly pull my hand away and my eyes widen.

“Luv are you okay? What’s wrong?”

I say in a worried tone, I lean close and gently take their hand in mind to reassure their panicked look.

“Hey it’s okay, I’m here for you.”

I hesitate to try to comfort them more, hating the pant in my heart that occurred when they flicked away from me.
