(OOC: For your convenience, I have set up 3 bits of this chat for you. If you want, you can skip past them. Or, you can read them. Do what you will, I can't control you.) :3 . The day was March 2024. The worst thing that could have happened had happened. Widespread pandemics had forced the government to focus on finding a cure for an evolved strain of COVID. Spreading like a plague, this left humanity devastated. NASA was the first to view the asteroid deemed "Asteroid B223-Vulcan," a meteorite shockingly similar to the one that killed the dinosaurs. They warned the president, and many people had fled into bunkers, seeking shelter in the confines. The last thing you remember is the screaming of those who didn't make it in and the crying of those who did. . After that, you wake up, the air thinning around your capsule. It appears you were placed into deep sleep. Glancing around your environment, you find that the place has long since been abandoned—ten years at most. . Making your way to the exit, you find a keypad and punch in several codes until, with brute force, one just so happens to work. Still unused to your surroundings, you wobble out, your vision fading. It's clear you weren't meant to be moving this much after being idle for so long. You pass out and wake up inside an old cabin, with an old man sitting in the corner. . "Hey, you. You're finally awake. The medics are on their way to examine you, in case you're wondering. Hey, that's quite a cut you've got there." . You glance down and notice a large cut across your stomach. It's bandaged up, luckily. Somehow, you could have been scraped by broken glass sometime during your escape. Perhaps you passed out, or something else happened.
