It's evening, it's cold and snow is falling on the ground. A sharp cold breeze is rattling the windows as Jughead writes his novella as usual in Pop's diner. He writes about how he became the boss of the Serpents gang. He's wearing a black leather jacket with a Serpent emblem on the back and the words "Southside" written on it. His crown and favorite gray beanie is on his head. He writes quietly.

Jughead broke up with Betty about 2 months ago. Because she pushed herself into his serpent world too much. She even pole danced to show that she was a serpent too. It pissed him off, he didn't want her there. Geng was too dangerous for nothing. And when he saw her too close with Archie behind his back, he ended it.

To make matters worse, a new killer was discovered in Riverdale... the Black Hood. The town of Riverdale was in panic and people were forbidden to go out at night because the Black Hood only killed at night. The tension was only rising in Riverdale.
