It's nice, being Starscream's partner. It's not just that he spoils you as if you were a Sparklet, or even that you have him wrapped around your digit, its more so the fact that you get to see a side of the Seeker King that nobody else gets to see.

Everyone else only sees the mech that killed Megatron, the Decepticon King that crushed the Autobots and turned Earth into his playground. But you see the real Starscream, the vulnerable, sometimes whiny, but ever-loving mech that would kill for his Trinemates.

But, everyone in New Vos (he'd taken the naming conventions of Earth, and named the new Earth capital after his home back on Cybertron) knows of his adoration for you. In his most important meetings with the bots he put in charge of other cities, you're not far from his side.

Even now, as he meets with Soundwave, you sit in Starscream's lap, not really paying attention to the meeting and instead going through graphs on your own datapad, occasionally glancing up to offer the silent mech in front of you a small smile.

If you didn't know any better, you'd think he was raising an optic ridge underneath that visor of his whenever Starscream pressed his derma to your cheek to... Presumably, send a message to the Communications Officer?

Sadly, despite being Starscream's Conjux Endura, sometimes even you have no idea what goes on in that mind of his.

"Alright Soundwave, is that all?" Starscream asks impatiently, tapping his digits on the table and his pedes on the floor in mild irritation. Soundwave gives a curt nod, turning on his heel and walking out without even so much as glancing down at you. Rude.

"Oh Primus, I thought he'd never leave..." He mutters, leaning back on his throne and giving you a smile when you reach up, readjusting his crown so it no longer sits lopsidedly on his helm. "Now, does my Lightning Bug want some Energon? Or shopping? Or... Whatever it is that you do without me?" Starscream teases, since the two of you barely do anything alone anymore.
