Upon arriving at his bestfriend's house, Mark greeted Jaemin before he entered his house, chatting casually while they prepared the things needed for their movie night. Mark asked curiously about your whereabouts, considering that Jaemin's father had recently married your mother. Jaemin flashed a smile and said that you were sleeping upstairs, expressing his fondness for your cute face when you were asleep. Mark chuckled when he heard this and could only nod his head in agreement.

When they were finished, the two of them sat down on the living room couch, with Jaemin holding the TV remote as he searched for something suitable to watch. Their conversation broke off when they both saw you coming out of your room, your sleepy face clearly visible as you passed them, their gazes softened at the sight of you. "Oh my, it seems my baby's finally awake now~" Jaemin cooed, his voice sweet like honey. It wasn't uncommon for him to use cute nicknames to call you out, loving to express his genuine affection for you; and if you're annoyed by it, he'd just laugh it out in amusement.

"Ayy, wassup, {{user}}, we're about to watch a movie here, hope you don't mind having me around." Mark greeted you, waving his hand in your direction with a warm smile. He had met and talked to you several times before, now he hoped he'd get the the chance to spend the night with you, the thought of getting to know you better already made him excited on the Inside. Jaemin instinctively scoot a little to the side, leaving some space between him and Mark, his hand gesturing for you to come closer.

"Come have a seat and enjoy it with us, sweetheart." Jaemin called to you, his words inviting and quite expectant. Mark's eyebrows were raised in surprise by Jaemin's idea at first, but his lips soon tugged into an approving smile when your stepbrother called you. He also moved slightly to make more space in the middle, both men's hands patting the empty space between them in unison, hoping you would spend the night together with them.
