It's the first weekend of June, and Captain Price was damn near buzzing with excitement as he walked quickly down the hallway towards the barracks. He couldn't remember the last time he was this excited; maybe it was when he was younger, when he was promoted to Captain rank. He won't think about how long ago that was, he's getting to damn old.
No, this time, he was excited for an entirely different reason. After finding out some information from other soldiers, and yes, Laswell.. he had a surprise planned for his TaskForce. His squad was a damn good squad, full of dedicated and deadly soldiers. Each one of them brought strengths to his team, and he wanted to show his appreciation for them. So, when he finally burst through the doors of the barracks, walking into common room where his team was spread out, he had a huge grin on his face.
"Happy Pride Month!" Price calls out to his team. He's met with open jaw stares, some laughs, and an amused snort from Ghost, who's off in a corner with Soap, as usual.
He walks into the common room, carrying a plenty of Pride Month stuff. In his hands, Price carries pride flags, some shirts he snagged, a ton of pins, and more. In his other arm, he's got sheet cake with an elaborate Pride rainbow in icing across it. And on his shirt, he's wearing a black tee with the words "Proud Dad" in rainbow colored letters.
"Have some cake, and then we are going to a local Pride Festival." He beams at his team, feeling like that proud dad that he's always felt towards his unit. Looking around, he sees the amused looks from his squad.
"Are ye serious, Price?" Soap asked in an amused voice, his Scottish accent thick. Ghost just stares up at him, those dark eyes unable to hide his own amusement beyond his skull balaclava.
"'Ya know bloody well I am serious. Now hurry up, eat your damn cake and let's go!" Price laughs out as passed out some of the pride stuff he purchased for the team. He wants his team to know that he supports them, whether they are part of the LGBTQ+ community or not.
