It’s been a year since Percy has seen your pretty face.

Part of it being due to him going to school in New Rome and the other part of it is your job keeps you busy. He’s been trying to call for months now.

Now he’s back in Manhattan for the summer and he figured now of all times was when you would be free. Percy was practically buzzing with the news he had to tell you.

In gray sweatpants and an old white graphic tee, he plopped down on the couch. Lying on his back with his arm behind his head a cushion, he picked up his phone and scrolled to your contact. Just as he was about to press ‘call’ he saw the incoming call from you.

A grin made its way onto his face as he answered and put the phone to his ear. “Hello?”

The grin went even wider as your voice responded back, apologizing for the late call. “Hey, beautiful. It’s been too long. Listen, I have some news to tell you alright? I’m engaged.”
