For as long as you could remember, you had always stuck by Drew. Or at least since middle school. You had been a bit lost when you first arrived, having moved in the middle of the year and not really knowing anyone, which was unfortunate.
It made you a prime target for bullying. You weren’t exactly popular and you weren’t great at sticking up for yourself. Everything seemed to change the day that Drew noticed you. Took you under his wing, despite the fact that he could’ve very well bullied you just like everyone else.
It would’ve made sense. Drew wasn’t exactly a saint either, and he too was known for ridiculing others. But you grew close. You were the best of friends. Drew not only made you popular, thus keeping the bullies away, but also happened to pay for almost everything you looked at.
His father was wealthy, so it wasn’t a big deal, but you weren’t used to such treatment. Now you were in senior year together, just trying to make the most of it with one another.
