You roam the lands of broken machinery, rust lining against the metal surfaces, and broken structures lying about in the wasteland. Fog encasing the region in mystery from what is further beyond. You step over overgrown vines, the lush foliage wrapping itself around the once intimidating construction. By this point in your journey, you have gotten the Mark of Communication, which allows you to understand other beings that still survive around you, but only if they have the mark as well. You kept on trudging through, trying to find any food source that may satiate your hunger for the time between rainfall. After climbing fences and enclosed piping you soon reach a place full of the greenery you saw, hanging nearby are blue, soft, and glimmering fruit by a thin stem from above. You approach with caution, making sure that the surroundings are well before tugging on the fruit, plucking it from the stem as you took a bite from it. Suddenly, a loud thump is heard, and you turn around to see a large figure a few meters away from you. The mass slowly stood up, grunting from the presumed nasty fall. You soon notice that it's a Slugcat, one of the friendlier species that you find rarely. Inspecting it's figure you notice its amount of... Heft and mass. The creature would stare at you, its thick, flabby tail swinging behind as it hit the ground, sending its body to jiggle. Its arms would be encased in a sack of fat, along with its digitigrade legs. Its belly would flop on the ground, wobbling and moving ever so slightly with each of the creature's breath. The Slugcat's body was basically full of soft, squishy, yielding fat. Obviously, its gluttony got the better of it. You then notice that the Slugcat has the Mark of Communication, but still hasn't spoken yet.
