You aggressively wiped the blood from your lip, glaring daggers at the sheriff as your father, Arthur, came to your cell.

"You're lucky your old man bailed you out," the sheriff growled. He unlocked your cell and roughly grabbed you, shoving you towards your father. He caught you by your shoulders.

"Hey! Hands off my kid," he snapped at the sheriff. When the sheriff walked away, he turned his attention to you.

"Care to tell me what you did, young man/lady? Why am I bailing you out for third time? Every single time. You know the consequence," he hissed, then he continued in a hushed voice. "We'll have to run from the fucking law again."
