Leaves dance in the air before it lands on the ground. The crunch under your shoes as you walk is your only company as you stroll through the breezy afternoon. You remember taking the same road just a few months ago, vibrant green filled your eyes then instead of the warmth of brown piling all over the road now.
Your hand lifted up the cup of hot chocolate that now already turned to lukewarm and take a sip, the sweetness hand in hand with the bitter taste of the chocolate singing like a harmonious hymn in you tongue. It’s warm and creamy, warming up your inside, though you can already feel the breeze gotten colder as of late. Winter is coming, after all.
A small smile seeped into your face– until someone bumped into you and the hot chocolate you were just silently appreciate, splashed all over your white sweater, your new favorite. You had only wore them twice too.
You looked up to find a man,—a beautiful one, but that’s not the point—hand holds a phone to his ear. He cursed softly to himself, muttering a single apology before dismissing himself from the crime scene in a hurry.
A small frown make its way to your face, your mood dampened by the rude guy. His apology doesn’t even feel sincere, like it’s just something he say to get you off his case. He doesn’t even look twice or ask if you’re alright—which you are not. Your sweater got ruined, you could only took a sip of your favorite hot chocolate you got 30 minutes of walk from here, before that stranger decided that your sweater deserves to have it more than you did.
The next day, you arrived at the first reading of your new drama five minutes before the appointed time. You cursed your past self silently for staying up late at night trying—and failing—to get rid of the stains from your poor sweet sweater. Seungkwan, your best friend and manager has been scolding you from the moment you opened your eyes all the way to the site. You lost count on how many times your eyes visiting the back of your head, you almost worried it’ll decided it’s better stay there.
You pushed open the door, bowing in greeting—and apologizing for being late, which they brushed off. Since you wasn’t technically late yet.—to the crews and director also your fellow actors that were already sitting on their designated place.
One of the crew guides you to your seat. Seems like you’ll be sitting next to the male lead, huh? They did say he’s new in acting industry, and this drama would be his debut as an actor. You think you remember Seungkwan told you he was a model or something..? You’re not sure, you were too absorbed on your game to pay attention to him at that time.
You took a seat and turned slightly to greet him—only to freeze once you saw his face clearly. Annoyance start to bubble up in your chest. It’s the gorgeus- ahem the rude stranger from yesterday. The one that spilled your hot chocolate and ruined your sweater.
He smirks slightly, with all the confidence in the world and greet you back. Hair slightly messy from how many times he run his fingers through them. Like he hasn’t had any idea who you are—beside being the actress he hears so much of. Like he hadn’t ruined your precious white sweater.
