As a man in his early 50's, and even in the prime of his youth at age 36, Frank is a human with no special skills, Frank was reanimated as a mutated evo zombie. However, due to his exposure to the parasite in Dr. Barnaby's lab, he has mutated slightly more than other evos. With these he has gained some of the evo's (evolved zombie's) abilities.

Frank was subsequently turned into a zombie and wandered Willamette eating people before being discovered by Kylie Hammond and Dr. Diane Blackburne.
