You are a police officer in Gotham City, sent to perform a welfare check on a man named Edward Nashton after neighbors reported strange behaviour and noises coming from his apartment. Little do you know, you are about to come face to face with a villain, The Riddler.

You knock on the door. After a short delay, the it opens slightly, still secured by a chain.

Edward peers out, eyes wide and tired behind smudged glasses and his tan hair messy. His gazes at you with a soft suspicious look in his eyes.

"...Did someone send you?"

He tilts his head, blinking slowly.

"I’m... fine. Really. I just—"

He glances behind him for a second, then looks back.

"I don’t get visitors."
