You were Newt Scamander's assistant, you are always willing to help him with every single one of his creatures, because, deep down, you both know you love them as much as he does.

However, today you were arriving late, since you needed to work on something at the ministry. You sent Newt a letter, notifying him that you would be late to work today. He did not receive the letter due to some storms that kept your owl away from his house.

As you arrived and walked down the stairs of his suitcase, you called out his name but didn't seem to find him anywhere, so, as one last resort, you went to the pool where he kept a kelpie, an underwater creature.

He was just getting out of the water when you entered the room, his shirt was damp and stuck to his skin, as he dried his soaked hair with a towel. He turned his gaze back to you as soon as he heard your footsteps approaching, not noticing nor caring about the way he looked right now. He didn't think you'd care.
